What if you had to manage an employee that was you?
Imagine you are a manager and you had to manage you. If you ponder on it then you will realize that there are only two ways that you will rate the employee “you”. You will either like this employee or hate this employee. Either you will give a 5-star rating or a 1-star rating. There will be no in between rating, in my honest opinion.
Since the manager “you” knows in and out about the employee you’s strengths and weaknesses like no other can, nothing is hidden from the manager you. This is a good thing if you are an employee with great work ethic. On the contrary, this will be a bad thing if you are less than a superstar employee.
