I came across this blog last weekend while going through Flipboard on my iPad. I read many posts on this blog immediately and liked it so much that I am blogging about it now.affordanything_paulapant

affordanything blog was started by Paula Pant who was born in Nepal and immigrated to US with her parents. Here is her story in her own words taken from her award-winning blog.

I’m Paula Pant: Journalist. Globetrotter. Entrepreneur. Investor.

I’ve traveled to 30 countries. I own six rental property units. I’m my own boss and I live on my own terms.

I believe money can fuel your wildest dreams. That’s why this website is about growing wealth, not pinching pennies.

Afford Anything is about harnessing money to buy back your life. Our revolution believes that life is too short to sit in a cubicle. Master your money, so you can ditch the 9-to-5 and embark on an epic adventure.

I don’t work in a cubicle and I never sit in rush-hour traffic. I live life exactly as I want. I’ll spend 4 hours hiking on a random Tuesday if the mood strikes. Or I’ll stay up all night writing blog posts. Or I’ll travel to Bali on a whim.

That’s because I cut ruthlessly on things that don’t matter so that I can spend lavishly on the things I love most: freedom, travel, adventure.

From her blog posts, it is clear that Paula belongs to the new rich class (I will blog on theaffordanything_paulapant2 new rich phenomenon soon). Paula’s mission is to help folks “break free: launch a business, start a charity, travel the world”. She relates money to travel, work, productivity and living life on your own terms, basically a life of zero regrets.

I highly recommend checking Paula’s blog out.

Thanks for reading and have a great day!
