The Un-Beet-Able recipe

After a break of more than one year, I juiced this week. In my earlier post, I blogged that I was planning to start juicing again and it took me more than a month from that intention to actually juice it. I read somewhere that the greatest waste in human life is the waste of good intentions. (When I find the actual quote, I will quote it here.) Anyhow, better late than never. So, here are the pictures of the juice and the recipe taken from website. The juice was very tasty and I am going to use this recipe a lot.



Un-Beet-Able Juice Recipe

Makes 2 servings

Nutrition per serving: 202 kCal; 844 kJ; 5 g protein; 42 g carbohydrates; 1 g fat; 0 g saturated fat; 4 g fiber; 21 g sugar; 161 mg salt

2 beets (beetroot)
6 carrots
2 apples
15 kale leaves (Tuscan cabbage)
2 in (5 cm) piece of fresh root ginger
