Free, quick and easy way to learn a new language
From the time I watched a Ted Talk by Luis Von Ann, I have been eagerly waiting for the website DuoLingo to go public. I checked it a few times couple of years back and it was still under construction. Then I completely forgot about it.
This year, I added learning a new language as one of my New Year resolutions. Then, I remembered about Duolingo, enrolled in it, did a couple of exercises and like it a lot. It is another story that I did not regularly spend time on learning. That is the peril of self-education especially when it is free. Anyhow, it is a great way to learn a new language, totally free. I think it has an app too through which you can learn on the go. I have not tried it though.
Check out the Ted Talk below given by the creator of this website Luis Von Ann. Then checkout the website duo lingo ,if you are interested in learning a new language. If you want to connect with me as a friend then definitely add me so that we can share our progress.
Some people say that this way of learning is addictive. I have not stuck with it long enough to develop this addiction. Maybe this blogpost will remind me to download the app and start learning through it. If you have been following my blog closely then you know that most of my blog posts are a reminder for me to restart some of the things that I started and stopped.
Anyhow, if you have tried Rosetta Stone or any other language learning tools and have not been very successful with any of those then here is another option. This way you will at least not regret spending money after a passion that may turn out to be short-lived.
Thanks for reading and have a great day!
